Hello Artists;

This is a reminder for the drawing session On Tuesday, April 3 from 4PM to 6PM at the barn on 4839 Headquarters Road in Courtenay.
The $10.00 fee will go to the Comox Valley Therapeutic Riding Society. Laureli will have two horses for this session; Max and Black Beauty.
You may arrive 10 minutes early and please use the sign-in sheet in the main meeting room. Artists may set up in the arena at 4PM - there is some heat,
but dress warmly. The following have registered: Jade Cambron, Shelley Combs, Diana Hamilton,Vivian Lochridge, Kayla McDonald, Gayle Schults,
Trish Smith, Isabelle Sprignet, Joanne Stoeckle, and Camille Vernier.

If I have missed anyone please send me an email, otherwise see you there. If you have not yet registered and would like to come, please let me know by email
and you may sign up at the barn, just try and do so before we start at 4pm.

Dual -Model Life Drawing Session:
Shadbolt Studio, NIC, Tuesday April 3rd 6:30pm
Rare opportunity to draw from two models on the podium at once. The regular drop-in life drawing session is organized by Alan Burgess of NIC faculty. Open to the public in the Shadbolt Studio at NIC on Tuesday evenings 6:30-9:30pm. Fee is usually 5.00 but may be 10.00 this coming Tuesday to compensate the two models. (Depends on turnout I guess).

peter is a magnificent guitarist who spends his life doing what he loves.

Drop-in Life Drawing Sessions at Shadbolt Studio, NIC, Tuesdays 6:30pm

There are regular drop-in life drawing sessions organized by Alan Burgess of NIC faculty open to the public in the Shadbolt Studio at NIC on Tuesday evenings 6:30-9:30pm. These will continue for at least two more sessions and the fee is 5.00. Great models, great studio, easels, boards, and lots of room.

Monday life drwg at Muir

I am unable to make the drwg sessions on Monday mornings at the Muir.  They begin next week.  If anyone out there is interested, there is a space open for you. 

Two of the works that I entered in the "Stark: Seeing the Body" show at the McMillian Arts Centre in Parksville.

Cumberland Lifers Drawing Sessions are over for this winter and will hopefully resume again in October 2012. Visit the blog for info on other drawing sessions between Qualicum and Campbell River and for posts by life drawers of their work and interesting items on figurative drawing.
