'Have Pen Will Travel; The Awesome Talent and Frightening Vision of Don Colley'

There is a great short film on YouTube about the amazing Chicago figurative artist Donald O. Colley. Don's website is in the links, and on a post, below, and you can see the film, which delves deep, deeper and deep down into his drawing sketchbook right HERE.

Don't forget that there is no life drawing this coming Monday Feb. 8th because it's a PD day and the school is closed.

Yeah! I love his business card too;
'Artist * Liar * Gunslinger'. He's got a blog so hopefully you've dropped by that too. Large files so you can really take a good look at those sketchbook drawings, and some entertaining anecdotes to boot.

I immediately went out and got a 4-pack of Faber-castel india ink markers- %40 off at Michael's in Nanaimo. Fun!
